Centreville Youth Ministries (CYM)
CYM is our ministry for young people in sixth through twelfth grade. They play games, learn about Jesus, and are challenged to discover and build their faith. In addition, our youth engage in service projects and attend an annual youth rally in Ocean City. Youth group meets 5:30 pm on Sundays.
Appalachian Service Project (ASP)
Warmer. Safer. Drier. That’s the mission of the Appalachian Service Project, a Christian ministry that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair in Central Appalachia. Each summer since 2005, our church has sent teams of youth and adults to Appalachia to work on the houses of those in need. It’s a powerful and often life-changing experience. Contact the church office if you’d like to participate.
Confirmation
Confirmation is an opportunity to respond to the grace of God available to us, as acknowledged in baptism, and to promise to live as a person of faith. Youth, typically in seventh or eighth grade, spend a weekend retreat learning about God and the church. At a later church service, the youth profess their faith and become full members of the United Methodist Church.
Music Ministry
You’ll find our youth playing keyboard with Reigning Mercy, ringing handbells with the Joy Ringers, and more. Learn about our music ministries.
