The foundation of our faith is the Bible.  We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, reveals the Word of God as it is necessary for our salvation.  We receive the Bible as the true rule and guide for living out and practicing our faith.

We believe there is only one living and true God, everlasting, of infinite power, wisdom, and goodness; the maker of all things, both visible and invisible. We believe in unity of this Godhead there are three persons, of one substance, power, and eternity – the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God; that he took the form of humanity through his birth from the Virgin Mary; and that he lived among us.  We believe that Jesus is both wholly divine and wholly human.  We believe that for the sake of our sins Jesus Christ suffered, was crucified, died, and was buried. He then rose from the dead and he currently sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven until the day when he returns to judge us all.

We believe that the Holy Spirit, as proceeding from the Father and Son, is part of the Triune God. The Holy Spirit acts as helper, counselor, and comforter to all who believe.  We believe the Holy Spirit protects and empowers us to serve as ambassadors to Jesus Christ in this world.

We believe that our salvation can only be obtained through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who grants us the forgiveness of sins and guarantees us eternal life. This salvation is a gift of God through his Son and is nothing we can earn.  Our salvation is through our faith in Christ alone and not through our good deeds or works. We are all sinners saved by God’s grace.
